Digital Photostory- "Arima West"

This photostory is entitled "Arima West-buzzing with Activities". My school is considered one of the 'State of the Art' schools on the east-west corridor. As such, the school is spacious with several rooms that facilitate different areas of learning outside of the set classroom. Arima West is especially known for having the largest field and multi-purpose courtyards in Arima. I had fun shooting these photos using a digital camera. It was both engaging and challenging and which took a lot of work. These still photos were used for emphasizing a strong emotion and for staying with an important point in my story. It created a particular mood. This activity once again was geared with young pupils in mind- Second Year Infants. Visual imagery always enhances the learning experience of pupils. With the combiantion of sound, music. words, pictures and motion, a photostory can be a useful tool in the classroom. My next goal will be a photostory of the next "whole schhol field-trip".
